Nutrition, the correct usage of vitamins, minerals and macronutrients within whole foods, is the best way to ensure that you will achieve optimum health. Please note that I am not advocating that you go out and buy lots of vitamin pills in this section of the site. I am promoting a balanced diet based on fruits, nuts, grains and vegetables. Optimum health cannot be ensured by relying on vitamin and mineral supplements for your nutrition. God has created foods with a combination of enzymes and other components which ensure that the vitamins, minerals and macronutrients within them are well absorbed into the body.
It was a painful surprise to me when I discovered the lack of nutritional information known by health care professionals. Most dieticians and doctors who are frequently asked about nutrition don't know as much as they appear to. A recent research article has shown the lack of pharmacists' knowledge of nutrition even though they are constantly asked by patients to suggest a vitamin or mineral supplement. Unknown to them, there are several ways nutrition can be used in conjunction with or instead of conventional treatment. For example, foods containing certain vitamins and minerals can be used to treat depression rather than resort to antidepressants with all their side effects and contraindications.
Please utilise the booklet here at the site. It will help you to ensure that your vitamin and mineral intake is adequate enough to promote and maintain good health. The vitamin and mineral will be updated regularly.
