Baptism in Water

The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded by the Scriptures. All who repent and believe on Christ as Saviour and Lord are to be baptised. Thus they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life.

Matthew 28:19 [KJVKJV/NIVNIV]
Mark 16:16 [KJVKJV/NIVNIV]
Acts 10:47,48 [KJVKJV/NIVNIV]
Romans 6:4 [KJVKJV/NIVNIV]

Holy Communion

The Lord's Supper, consisting of the elements --bread and the fruit of the vine-- is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4 [KJVKJV/NIVNIV]), a memorial of his suffering and death (1 Corinthians 11:26 [KJVKJV/NIVNIV]), and a prophecy of His second coming (1 Corinthians 11:26 [KJVKJV/NIVNIV]), and is enjoined on all believers "till He come!"

Daily Bible Verse

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:13.

Daily Thought

There are those who profess to serve God, while they rely upon their own efforts to obey His law, to form a right character, and secure salvation. Their hearts are not moved by any deep sense of the love of Christ, but they seek to perform the duties of the Christian life as that which God requires of them in order to gain heaven. Such religion is worth nothing.
